Hello lovely islanders! The weather is becoming a little chilly as we are stepping into the winter season but don’t worry, I got your back! Get ready to have your spirits lifted with this new blog post.
Let me set the scene for you: imagine the grooving DJ by the pool, the sounds of laughter by the beach, rosé pouring in glasses and the iconic beach postcard view right from your sunbed..this is how Sundays looks like at R Beach Club.
We were thrilled to have such a beautiful weather! Nothing better to get you motivated for a new week then to soak up in the sun. Right as we set foot in this pristine location, I knew we were in for a real treat! To my right, the scrumptious buffet Al Fresco style infused in the vibrant colours of Italy. To my left, the gorgeous display of feminine island wear by a local artisan, Le Dressing by Boubou.
I felt like I was riding a unicorn on a rainbow. Supporting local artisans has always been something that I cherished and seeing enterprises like R Beach Club embracing the cause was pure bliss. But add delicious food and beach to it..well I was euphoric.
We were seated on a comfy daybed right next to the pool, facing the beach of Mont Choisy. The sea was shimmering. Sunshine and turquoise waters, a picture perfect day. We fortuitously met a bunch of friends and it just re-affirmed my feeling about this place. R Beach Club was perfect to kick off your shoes, shake the week out of your mind and enjoy the ambiance with family and friends, ‘a la bonne franquette’.
We rolled like a Sunday. At our pace, walked by the beach, indulged in pastries and tropical fruits, sipped fresh beer – because again, Sunday! – headed to our daybed to catch some sun and lovely chats before going back to the buffet and indulge in some more food.
In the afternoon we had the chance to see the catwalk from Le Dressing by Boubou. Summer prints, trendy designs and timeless pieces. It was simply stunning. If ever you got your eye on one of those dresses, they are available at Le Rendez-Vous at La Croisette.
On Sundays we usually sleep until we are hungry and eat until we are sleepy, but thanks to R Beach Club, now we will swim until we are thirsty and dolce far niente until it is Monday!
