Bookie Friday: ”What I Know For Sure” Oprah Winfrey

Good Morning Sunshine! Isn’t it wonderful to wake up to a Friday morning? Knowing that the weekend is just at your doorstep! I have decided to share my morning ritual with you! Coffee, book and croissant, what else? I’ve always been a book enthusiast but lately I’ve been going through book shops to find ‘la perle rare’. The book that gets your eyes wide open and little shivers through the first reading!

I am much more attracted to inspirational, spiritual and biographies, even if I am trying to get a hand on Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen! My all time favorite!

Today I will share with you, this beautiful small book: ”What I Know For Sure” by Oprah Winfrey. It is so inspiring and invigorating at every level! Her personal experiences and how she figures it out is simply mind-blowing, you can see yourself through those lines. It gives a glimpse on how we women, take life too seriously. Take time to feel the moment, enjoy the little things and most importantly, be grateful to what you have.

A book of revelations, uplifting, emotional and humorous. This book is as extraordinary as the woman behind it. The chapters are organized into themes, such as joy, resilience, gratitude..and I am now on Awe. I heartily recommend this book, and as I shared some of my favorite pages with my dear friends and family, I will do the same on the blog today. Happy Reading!
P.S: I got the book at the Bookcourt at Caudan Waterfront, Port Louis

Sounds like a fascinating read 🙂 I don't read a lot of non-fiction but one that I really enjoyed was 'Yes Please' by Amy Poehler. I really enjoy books told from the perspective of funny and smart women. I might check out 'What I Know For Sure' at some point 🙂

It is very inspiring! I would definitely recommend you this book. I've bookmarked several pages already, even though I've finished it, it is great to read back some paragraphs, and trust me, there are a lot!
