When you buy from a maker, you are buying a dream, months of hard work, perseverance but also moments of doubts and failures. There is no better gift than offering someone you cherish something which was made from the heart, from our beautiful island!
I am so happy to host this Christmas Giveaway with the support of 4 local artisans and entrepreneurs! We came together to put this beautiful project to life and I hope you will enjoy this blog post as much as I did creating it!

Indiz are handmade accessories made in Mauritius. Aurélie takes her inspiration from oriental and boho chic designs which are the main influences for her business, the INDIZ Style. ‘I put a lot of time in searching the right materials and creating pieces that will reflect the brands style’. All the products are handmade, created during her spare time. The products consists of earrings, bracelets, necklaces, clutch bags and in the future, garments!
The products featured in the Christmas Giveaway have been inspired by different moodboards done before starting every creations. Some have been inspired by the festive season, some from the oriental and boho style and some are actually her best sellers.
Vintidui by Theva Pyneeandy
Vintidui is an ethical clothing brand 100% handmade in Mauritius and lately they have started doing macramé home deco objects and other accessories!
Theva started doing keyrings to add some macrame joy to the daily grind. 🙂 ‘I absolutely love them as you can add a boho touch to anything just by adding these keyrings, for example your bag’.

Valerie is the entrepreneur behind the first Mauritian beauty box! When you subscribe online, you will receive a box filled with minimum 5 to 6 trendy cosmetics, makeup, accessories every month at your address. The delivery is free. The products are sourced in Mauritius and around the globe. The brands she works with are mostly high-end brands.
You can also offer a subscription to your loved ones! They will be delivered the surprise box with a personalised gift message which is perfect for the festive season!

TAØ CRAFT by Natacha Yu
Natacha shares her passion for boho jewelry by highlighting the beauty of natural treasures in her creations. ‘My creations are definitely a pure reflection of me. Very discrete in nature, my delicate and touch of simplicity is omnipresent in my crafts. I’m very perfectionist, which reflects in my crafting and also in the time spent for crafting each piece. I spend a lot of time in the thinking, designing and crafting process.’
She started with handmade Brazilian bracelets as she was passionate with the colours. During the process, she finally found the true essence of her crafts when she discovered natural stones.
The Minimalist Gemstone bracelets featured in the giveaway are the beautiful result of her love at first sight with gems back in 2015, it has throughout the years, become her bestsellers up to date. Natacha finds inspiration in the materials itself. ‘Their natural beauty and their beautiful energies are enough to inspire me’.

Rules of the Christmas Giveaway:
The rules are simple, you should be a Mauritian resident to participate in the blog giveaway.
The competition will run for 5 days, starting on the 25th December 2017, ending on the 29th December 2017.
The winner will be announced on Saturday 30th December 2017.
Rules of participation should be followed in order to enter the competition.
