The first fashion truck is now in Mauritius! My Pop Up Store on Wheels has been launched last Saturday at the Domaine de Labourdonnais during the 8th edition of the Gourmet Experience! A beautiful setting for an amazing ride!
This creative little truck is about to travel throughout the island and offer products that are Made in Mauritius. My Pop Up Store on Wheels is an extension of My Pop-Up Store, you can read the latest blog post here. Elizabeth and her team created yet another lovely initiative for the local artisans in Mauritius.
My Pop Up Store on Wheels will be riding throughout hotels to promote the handcrafted products such as bags, jewelry, summer outfits, accessories, stationary and even books! Each display that present the products were crafted specially so as to fit in the truck! Isn’t that genius! Simply unfold the display and voila, you have an ephemeral shop!
What’s new to My Pop Up Store on Wheels are the delicious and flavoursome napolitaines! Yes! Authentic Mauritian treats revisited by Marine & Valerie to the tropical island vibes! Or as they like to call it ‘Le Macaron Mauricien’! We were invited to taste those treats at a Tea Party! Fig, kiwi, mango/apricot, chestnut and guava are the flavours you will definitely love! I melted for mango/apricot and fig.
Save the date so as not to miss My Pop up Store on Wheels! The little truck will be at the Christmas Market (Place Cap Tamarin Saturday 10th December and at the 9th edition of the Gourmet Experience at Mont Choisy Hall Saturday 17th December.
