Hello beautiful readers!
I am writing to you from my brand new website! I mean, AMAGAAAD! August has been such a beautiful month until now, actually seeds of inspiration with some pinch of wit was planted since July. However the beginning of August has been an action-packed journey – a ‘Make it happen’ kind of month.
Gonna be honest, I was longing for change. I felt stuck in my creation process and the way I curated blog articles. I guess after 5 years, you throw yourself in a routine to get it done. Which isn’t a bad thing but it gets dusty and that is not something you are excited to wake up to (who loves to wake up to dust anyway?).
So voila! A brand new website to share with you the beauty of island living in Mauritius. I invite you to click along those pages crafted with love.
Now that the introduction is done, let’s dive into the good stuff! You may already know by now that I am obsessed in supporting local artisans. Well, launching a new website is another opportunity to showcase handcrafted items from our island. To celebrate this new blog post, I collaborated with Esafodaz to host a giveaway! Now that’s a hell of a party lovely readers!
Esafodaz, an initiative by Youth Sceal in partnership with Trezor Lokal LTD, is a creative business incubator in Mauritius for individuals in need. They empower them by providing valued coaching on managing a handmade business and deliver sustainable solutions towards their straightened circumstances. I personally see Esafodaz as a transformational experience for those soul entrepreneurs as they are supported by a well-esteemed community, which is now a collective of artisans.
The products vary from home decor, jewelry, accessories and workspace essentials. Esafodaz are usually present in artisan markets around the island so be on the look-out and grab the opportunity to meet them by following their Facebook page.
They also have their very own online shop, where you can just scroll and choose your favorite items via their website. A delightful marketplace to support our local communities in need.
